She was the oldest of six children born on July 19, 1923 to Andrew and Frances Haug in Seneca, Kansas. Cynthia lived the majority of in her life in Kansas City and in 1946 she married Max Todd and together they raised three children, two boys and one girl.
She had a zest for life and loved traveling and getting together with friends and family, of which there was many. She had a knack for gardening and made the world a little more beautiful with her flowers.
She loved playing cards and was in various bridge clubs throughout the years. She also enjoyed playing pinochle with friends and family. One of her favorite things to do was to go to the casinos; she spent many hours there with her sisters having fun.
In her later years she volunteered with the Catholic Church and took communion to the elderly and infirm.
She is survived by her son Gary of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter and son-in-law Carol and Scott Senko of Apache Junction, Arizona; daughter-in-law Christine Todd of Leawood, Kansas; granddaughter and husband Katie and Jeremy Prince of Peculiar, Missouri; granddaughter Jamie Todd of Belton, Missouri; granddaughter and husband Emily and Josh Holladay of Denver, Colorado; seven great-grandchildren; sister Delores and Paul Miller of Valley Falls, Kansas; sister Betty Lauer of Kansas City, Missouri and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Max Todd, and her son Alan Todd.
Perhaps they are not stars in the sky,
But rather openings where our loved ones shine down,
To let us know they are happy.
