Cynthia Linn McWilliams

Cynthia (Cindy) Linn McWilliams, 58, of Peculiar, Missouri departed this life on Monday, December 26, 2016 after a yearlong fight with cancer. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.

Cindy was born February 3, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Richard Hopper and Patricia Bradley.

In Cindy’s early years she worked as a union meat wrapper for Price Chopper and in the technology field at Tallgrass Technologies and Interconnect Devices. It was while working at Price Chopper when she met her second husband Richard, her best friend and the father of her 3 children. Cindy had an overall passion for life which included horses, gardening, travel, and most of all her family. If Cindy was here today she would tell everyone to hold your family close to your heart, never give up, and live each day to the best of your ability.

Cindy is preceded in death by her brother William (Billy) Bradley and husband Richard McWilliams.

Survivors include her mother Patricia Bradley, step father William (Diane) Bradley , grandmother Geraldine Parker, sister Cheryl Cartwright, step sister Vicki Brubaker, three Children Ryan (Amber) McWilliams, Crystal (Kevin) Dizney, and James (Christina) Gorham, five grandchildren, 2 nephews, and numerous other loved ones.
