Connie married George W. Kingore in 1955 and began her life as a preacher's wife. Later she also worked for the American Lung Association as the Director of Fundraising which is a role she carried out for over a decade. After retirement, they loved to travel around the world.
She loved gardening, baking and sewing and was very proud of her beloved Iris and Rose bushes.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, William and George Jr.; her sister Nadine Henley; her husband George and two of her children, Susan Miller and Daniel Kingore.
Connie is survived by her daughter Peggy (Curtis), son David (Sue) and grandchildren, Shane, Amanda, Jessica, Norah and Nadine and ten great-grandchildren.
Connie passed peacefully mid-prayer with the pastor at her care center on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 in Blue Springs, Missouri.
A visitation for Constance will be held Monday, June 17, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 400 W. Maple Ave, Independence, Missouri 64050. A memorial service will follow from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Constance's memory may be made to Independence First United Methodist Church, 400 W. Maple Avenue, Independence, Missouri 64050.
