Clyde Williams, age 78, Kansas City, Missouri, died peacefully October 13, 2015. A one-hour visitation, followed by services and interment, will commence 10:00 AM Saturday, October 17, at Mount Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home/Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Great Plains SPCA.
A successful and talented entrepreneur, Clyde founded during his lifetime over one hundred Deluxe Carpet Cleaning businesses from coast-to-coast. Countless men and women grew personally and professionally under Clyde’s watchful eye and leadership. Many were inspired to open their own businesses. Still more joined Clyde, an avid sportsman, gun collector and marksman, on his regular hunting and fishing trips to Canada and numerous other destinations throughout the United States.
Clyde is survived by a loving and devoted family which includes his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Williams, daughters Tina Carter and Sarah Robar, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Clyde truly leaves a lasting legacy. He will be greatly missed.
