A Visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64119. Following the Visitation, a Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 pm at Mt. Saint Mary’s Cemetery, 2201 Cleveland Ave, Kansas City, MO 64127.
Clarence was born in Kansas City, MO to William E. and Eva E. (Froebel) Grimes on February 20, 1936. Clarence retired from MoDoT in 1996.
Clarence is preceded in death by both of his parents; siblings, Rosalie Cretel, Martha Hibbs, and William “Bill” Grimes, Jr; and nephew, Stephen Cretel. He leaves behind his nephews, Roland Cretel, Jr., Leon Cretel, Sean Cretel, and Ronnie Schults; nieces, Suzanne Miller and Linda Jackson; and his many friends who lovingly referred to him as “Grandpa.”
