Chris was born on October 8, 1997, in Kansas City, MO, to Jan Clarkson and Eric Krugh. As the sixth born of seven siblings, he was in for a wild ride! He began his educational journey at Curé of Ars Grade School, continued at Shawnee Mission East, and furthered his studies at University of Central Missouri and Johnson County Community College.
Chris was the second youngest to his six siblings, as he often reminded his twin brother Kevin (born nine minutes later). He was lovingly smothered by his older sisters and engaged in daily wrestling matches with his four brothers. He is so very loved.
An aficionado of the trampoline, Chris mastered the art of jumping, flipping, and twirling high into the air, skills that seamlessly transitioned to the diving board. His effortless talent earned him the affectionate nickname, "The Natural."
Chris was a fervent exercise enthusiast, dedicating himself to daily workouts at the gym and daily nature walks on the trails. His impeccably toned physique was a testament to his unwavering commitment to physical fitness and health.
Possessing a remarkable memory, Chris could recount the date, day of the week, and time of events from years past with astonishing accuracy. He held a deep passion for Godzilla, Pokémon, Dragon Ball-Z, Call of Duty, Anime, Super Smash Brothers, gaming, and took immense pride in defeating loved ones at chess.
Chris is survived by his parents, Jan Clarkson (Jeff Clayton) and Eric (Leigh) Krugh; his grandmother, Mary Jane Krugh; his siblings, Caitlin (Patrick) Flynn, Eric Krugh Jr., Joe Krugh, Anna (Stephen) Westhead, Johnny (Autumn) Krugh; his best friend and twin brother, Kevin Krugh; and his adoring niece and nephews, James, Connor, Olivia, and William.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 28th at Unity Temple on the Plaza, 707 W. 47th Street, Kansas City, MO. A reception will follow the service at Carriage Club, 5301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO.
