Christopher B. Kinghorn, 48, of Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Christopher B. Kinghorn Memorial Fund, c/o Bank of Prairie Village, 3515 W. 75th Street, Prairie Village, Kansas 66208. Chris was born October 20, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked as a customer service representative for a credit card company. He was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in February and fought a strong fight against his diagnosis. He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Martha (Ireland) Kinghorn. Chris is survived by his brother Kevin Kinghorn, Kansas City, Missouri; sister Kimberly Sinnard, her husband Greg and their son Sawyer, all of Independence, Missouri; and his beloved dog Molly and cat Grace.
