Chris was a humble man and deeply loved his family and being a father to his kids. His top priority was doing things with his children. He also had a deep passion for lowriders, music and his homies.
Chris really enjoyed spending time with Tia, Mila, Daylonna and his family. Holidays and birthdays were especially joyous. Of course riding dirtbikes, shooting guns and drinking beer were right there as well as cruising down Blue River Road. Probably one of his greatest memories was hanging out with his grandfather watching him work on the funny car, which led to his love of working on cars. Ironically, one time he forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the wheels. He also forgot to put the oil cap back on while changing the oil and proceeded to test drive his car. Chris learned by his mistakes and was able to master his craft. Like most kids, he argued with his mother and disagreed with his father but respected and loved them both very much. More than anything else, he treasured spending time with his family and friends who he would do anything for.
Chris is preceded in death by his father, Kevin Greening.
He is survived by his daughters, Cristiana Greening and Mila Greening; stepdaughter, Daylonna Green; his mother, Sherry Vanderwoude aunts Connie (Carl), Terri (Joe) and Uncle Don (Pam), Deborah (Rich), Kathleen (Jay) and Uncle Billy; half brother, Kody Evans; half sister, Kelsey Caldron; many cousins; and his best homies: Kevin Cook, Cory Holder, Matt Cary, Leilani Davis , Michael Buckles, Kevin McRoy, Jeff Edwards, Chris Maley, Colin Nichols, his two four legged children, Stumpy and Honey; and many others.
Chris, you will be truly missed!
A visitation will be held from 5-6 PM, service 6 PM, on Saturday, April 16, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family for his children.
