Charles H. McClain, 94, passed away September 2, 2017. Visitation will be at 1:00 on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Floral Hills followed by funeral services at 2:00. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Charles attended high school in Breckinridge, Missouri before coming to Kansas City and getting a job at Pratt and Whitney during the war. Charles later went to work at General Motors in 1950 and worked there for the next 32 years. He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church. Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, his parents, and two siblings. Charles leaves behind his children and their spouses, Rosemary and Larry Wolfe, and Chuck and Susie McClain; grandchildren, Michele and Kent Waisner, Michael Muza, Stacy and Jason Batchelder, and Andy McClain; great grandchildren, Steven, Kyler, Alex, and Ashley Waisner, Christian and Chloe Muza, Hayley, Holden, Dawson, Macy, Jakeson, and Silvy Batchelder.
