Charles Gene Hibdon, 89, passed away August 15, 2016. Visitation will be from 9-10 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Floral Hills Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 10AM Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Charles was born in Hermann, MO and had lived in the K.C. area since 1951. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. After his servie he worked as a scale repairman for Toledo Scale Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon. Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Gwendolyn Hibdon, a son, David Hibdon; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include his son, Terry Hibdon; 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
