Charles Michael Carr, 53, passed away on November 30th, 2024 after his fight against ALS. He was passionate about sports, music, movies, the outdoors, and his family. He was best known for his sense of humor, compassionate nature, great conversations and his deep love for his family.
He is survived by his mother Jo Lynn Carr, brother James Carr, spouse Tara Carr, his children Justin Carr (Amber), Ryan Carr (Rachel), Amelia Carr, Jordan Carr and his grandchildren Griffyn, Anastasia, April and Nico.
Charles will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be sent to the ALS Society at The ALS Association - The ALS Association.
The family would like to thank his doctors and caregivers at NKCH, VNA, KU ALS Clinic and Ascend Hospice for their efforts, care and dedication.
A visitation for Charles will be held Monday, December 9, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO where a Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 PM.
