Cecil lived a full life doing the things he enjoyed. His many pleasures were his grandchildren and all their activities. He loved fishing, flea marketing, and carpentry, along with many other hobbies. He prided himself in fixing cars and doing small engine repair; when something wasn't running right, Cecil was always there to fix them. He was a United States Air Force vetaran, serving his country in 1957, which he took great pride in. Before returning to Missouri, Cecil owned and operated his own nursery/landscaping company in Florida. He was a true "Jack of all trades" and made himself available to lend a helping hand whenever called. He'll always be true in the heart of his family and friends, as he will be missed by so many. He spent his time with his loving wife, Cathy, surrounded by their children and grandchildren. This PaPa was hands on with his grandchildren and they totally adored him. He had so much to teach and was a man willing to pass on his many talents. Cecil was there at the drop of a hat for his many nieces and nephews, friends and family; rain, sleet, or snow, you could always depend on Cecil.
Cecil was preceeded in death by his parents, Otis C. Stockdall and Alice F. Stockdall, and a sister Ruby.
