Catherine Pearce

Nadine was born in Greenbush, KS on December 23, 1924. She was the fourth of 14 children born to Ora (LaForge) & Raymond Hentzen. She was married 54 years to Horace L Pearce.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church & a co-founder of Christian Foundation for Children & Aging.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace; her sisters Rita Watson, Lorene McDonough Spoor, Genevieve Hentzen, Marilyn O’Connell, and brothers Gene, Bernard (Bud), Joseph Merle, James Hubert & two infant brothers Dickey & Jerry. She is survived by her daughters, Donna O’Malley (Ed), Catherine Quiroga, Elaine “Laney” Haake (David), Barbara Kellerman (Paul), and sons Jimmy (Rita), Bill (Diane), Paul (Kris), Ken (fiancé - Mele) & sisters, Doris Edmonds (Dick) & Barbara Hentzen, & brother, Robert Keith Hentzen (Cristina). She leaves 44 grandchildren & great-grandchildren who brought great joy into her life.

A Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 3, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO. Burial immediately following at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 4 -7 p.m. Thursday, February 2, at the church.
