Services for Carolyn Morgan Scott, 88, will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 26th, with visitation from 9:00 - 11:00 AM Tuesday, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6751 NE 70th St, Kansas City, MO. Graveside services are 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 27th, at the Bethany Memorial Cemetery, Crocker, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
Carolyn was born and raised in Elizabeth City, NC. She married William Keith Scott and they travelled the world with the U.S. Navy. Upon William's retirement, they lived and farmed in Iberia, MO. After farming they moved to Florida and then to Kansas City to be close to family. They were married for 62 years before his passing in 2014. Carolyn enjoyed gardening and during her life provided much service to her church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha and Annie and a brother, Carlton.
Survivors include her four children, Michael (Gaylene) Scott of Ogden, UT, Paula Friend of Kansas City, William (Kimberly) Scott, Liberty, MO, and Timothy (Tammy) Scott of Columbia, MO; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
