A strong and vibrant spirit has been taken. Lynn was a woman of remarkable beauty, integrity, generosity, intellect and honesty. Despite several critical health issues she had the enthusiasm and joy for life of someone decades younger with a great sense of humor and an amazing attitude toward life that undoubtedly extended hers by at least five years.
She was always ready to laugh, eat, drink, shop, read a book, work a crossword, advise her husband, help someone out, and come to the rescue of all animals, wild or tame.
Born in Bisbee, Arizona, the daughter of William and Marjorie Rees, Lynn is survived by her husband Peter Yates Enich; her daughter Stephanie Blaine and son William; her sister Laurie Rees, husband Bill Pratt and their daughter Molly; brother William F. Rees II, and his children Taylor, Alex, and Katherine. Additional family relatives are abundant and loved.
One of Lynn’s many passions was an unmatched zeal for culinary delights, leaving area restaurants to lament the loss of Kansas City’s patron saint of fine dining.
Lynn had an extraordinary ability to focus upon a positive outcome for any situation and to navigate her way to the best possible outcome and, in doing so, take the rest of us along with her on the ride.
To the very end her desire to live and to enjoy even a shrinking number of good hours each day makes it hard to accept that she is no longer here. Lynn will always be remembered and always be loved.
