Carl Gene Johns, age 69, of Roeland Park, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Carl was born July 15, 1952.
Carl Gene Johns passed away peacefully at his home in Roeland Park Ks. on Tuesday, February 8th 2022. He was married for 9 years to his wife Tara Johns. Carl graduated from Shawnee Mission North and went on to serve in the United States Army in Thailand during the Vietnam War. He was employed at G.M. Corp. for 15 years and worked at Wintrax for 17 years until he retired. After retirement, he dedicated his life to his grandchildren, Kaydin, Mariella, Dillan and took in Bella to raise as his own. He was a loving husband and father.
A visitation for Carl will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
