Bruce was born on November 28, 1944 in St Joseph, Missouri to Donald and Betty (Lehman) Stewart. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Zoe, and his aunt Elinor Stewart of Sierra Vista, Arizona. Bruce is also survived by his cousins Carol (John) Bennett, Christie (Chuck) Wolfe, Paul (Pat) Ellis, Frank (Dixie) Ellis, Julie(Dave) Burkett, Mark (Lisa) Bass, Ron (Renell) Stewart and Doug (Ginny) Stewart and a sister-in-law, Nikki Banister.
Bruce's grandparents lived in Wathena, Kansas. He had many happy memories of the time he spent there
when he was a boy. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas
City. Bruce worked as a quality engineer in aviation electronics, for much of his career at Wilcox Electric.
He enjoyed playing blackjack as a science, studying strategies and tactics, and playing in a disciplined
way. He was also a serious student of the stock market and investing, and applied his same disciplined
way of thinking to his investing activities. He was a kind man who was always ready to help a friend or
neighbor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his uncles Ed Ellis and Alan Stewart, his aunts Olyne Ellis and
Thelma Bass and his cousin Wayne (Wilma) Ellis.
Private services will be held by the family.
