Brenda Jean Turner, age 82 of Overland Park, Kansas passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022
Brenda was born on October 5, 1940 in Wewoka, Oklahoma, the daughter of Margaret Hazel (Lance) Blackledge and Melvin Leo Blackledge.
She was preceded in death by her son Robert Joseph Jones, Jr. and her husband William Gordon Turner, Jr. Brenda is survived by her sister Glenda Kay O'Donnell and daughter Debra Lynn Jones. Brenda has three grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.
Brenda retired from Anesthesiology Services in 1990 as a senior accountant. Brenda loved gardening, a good book and had a passion for ancient archaeology.
She passed away peacefully after a long battle with heart failure. Brenda was a loving mother and will be missed terribly.
