Brandon Dee was born on April 20, 1985 in Stuttgart, Germany, to Todd and Annette Hitchner. Brandon Dee moved to Raymore, Missouri in 1998 where he met many friends and lived the remainder of his life.
Brandon Dee took pride in himself learning how to be self-sufficient, encouraging others to continually self-motivate as he sought to expand his knowledge throughout his life journey. He always enjoyed spending time outdoors, and later in life he enjoyed gardening and spending quality time with his beautiful daughter, Ophelia. Brandon Dee had the ability to read and connect with people in a deep, unguarded, intimate way.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Kathryn Drue Waldrop, and his maternal grandfather, Philip Garcia. Also preceding him were his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Jean Hitchner.
Surviving him are his parents, Todd and Annette Hitchner, his brother, Jeffrey Hitchner, sister, Janet Otto and her husband Jason, his longtime companion, Cassie Lillig, his daughter, Ophelia Adaline Lillig Hitchner, and his step-son, Kingston. Also surviving him are his nephews, Grayson, Rowan, and Zachary. From his maternal side, his uncle, Curtis Dee Garcia, and his wife, Jill Weber-Garcia, and his uncle, Jeffrey Garcia. Brandon Dee is also survived by his Garcia family members, including several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
From his paternal side, Brandon Dee is survived by his aunt, Nancy and her husband Louis Missimer, and cousins, and his uncle, Mark Miller.
Brandon Dee's loving soul is one that will be truly, immensely missed.
