Private burial services will be in West Lawn Cemetery, DeKalb, MO. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the NorthCare Hospice House or Wayside Waifs, Inc.
Betty was born on November 5, 1927 in St. Joseph, MO to William Henry and Hazel Autumn (Simmons) Mosher. Betty was a Registered Nurse at North Kansas City Hospital and a nurse for Dr. Ireland Kimball Medical Office. On August 14, 1948 she married Charles S. West and they enjoyed 49 years of marriage. He preceded her in death in 1997. Betty was a volunteer for Red Cross and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Betty was an avid reader and pet lover.
Survivors include her three daughters, Maureen Paden (John), Keller, TX, Charmon West, Parkville, MO, and Michele Mattioni (Tom), Paradise Valley, AZ; and four-legged friend, Bailey (Boo); four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
