Bettie Jean was born April 10, 1949 to Iphus and Pearlie Hill. She accepted Christ at an early age at Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Grand Cane, Louisiana.
She attended and graduated from DeSoto High School on May 26, 1967. Bettie moved to Kansas City, MO and was employed at the downtown department store, Kresge for many years. Bettie worked at the Phillips Hotel for many years until retirement.
She leaves to cherish memories, a large family of nieces and nephews. She was a sister to six siblings, four have preceded her, LeRoy Hill, Eula Mae Hill, Ollie Mae Hill, and Johnny Lee Hill. Her remaining brothers, Ernest Hill and Robert Hill live in Mansfield, LA.
Bettie Jean Hill’s favorite passion in life was sewing and making her Stylish Design Unique Clothing.
