Born, July 14, 1939 in Springfield, Ohio to William and Geneva Caulfield. She graduated from Catholic Central High School before moving to Kansas City, Missouri. Barbara attended House of Heavilin Beauty School and went on to open her own salon.
Barbara married in 1960 and settled in South Kansas City where she raised her three children. She was a homemaker and was very active in the St. Regis Altar & Rosary Society and countless clubs and activities at both St. Regis & O'Hara where her children attended school. Later she worked at and retired from Scottish Rite of Free Masonry. After retirement she worked at Little Sisters of the Poor, The Jones Store and volunteered at St. Joseph Medical Center. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, bingo and watching KC Chiefs football.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Geneva Caulfield, siblings Donna (Robert) Green, Joyce (Clyde) Edmonds & John Caulfield. She is survived by her children Valerie (Michael) Kincade, Roger Jr. (Lisa) Wilkins, & Steve Wilkins. Grandchildren Sam (Kelli) Wilkins, Alyssa (Josh) Ballard, Loren (Coby} Jordan, Jeremy (Danelle} Kincade & Kelsey Kincade. Great grandchildren Anna, Kinley, Beau, Avery, JJ, Makenna, Carly, Max & Sophie Jo. Siblings Sandy (Jerry} Penwell, Bill {Shirley} Caulfield, Cindy {Richard) Bracken.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Association Heart of America Chapter.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a funeral Mass of Christian burial from 11:00AM to 12:00PM at St. Regis Catholic Church, 8941 James A. Reed Road, Kansas City, MO 64138. A luncheon reception will occur Friday, October 14, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 8941 James A. Reed Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138.
