I really do miss Mrs.Barba already she was such a loving & caring person I did call & talkwith her 2 to 3 times a week r more I can truly say that I did Love her-

The first thought I had about "Grandma Bales" is when we took her to play bingo at Maywood bowl oh so many years ago.  We all had a really good time with an unforgettable memory.

I’ll always remember you at my games, picking me up when I was sick, our card games, and the wonderful Christmas cookies, just to name a few.

I met Barbara several years ago; she lived in the same apartment complex as my mom, Janet. There was a group of gals, all of them were wonderful but Barbara was special. She was so kind and thoughtful, always asked about my son and grandchildren. I hate that I wasn't able to see her this past year due to COVID. The last time I saw Barbara, I told her once the weather got nice, we (her, my mom, and me) would pick-up Sarah and go have lunch... Unfortunately, we never got a chance to.
She will be missed by all that knew her. We can only take comfort that there is one more angel looking out for us.

Barbara was my best friend for the past 20 years. We shared so many good times together. Trips to the boat, birthday and holiday celebrations, lunches with the gang, and many events the past few years with the Sterling Plaza group. I'll miss our daily chats; especially to discuss the Chiefs and Royals games. I can only take comfort that she is at peace and able to dance with her husband once again.

I have known Barbara and her family for over 50 yrs; they were my first "American" family and I will never forget their kindness and generosity to me when I first came to this country. Life moves on and brings with it many changes but through it all I was able to stay in touch with Barbara.  Her kindness and love reflected the love and Grace of her parents and I will always be grateful. May you rest in Peace dear friend and though we will miss you, we know you are now safe and free from all pain and suffering. God be with all the family as they grieve . Know that she was much loved and respected.

She was always Mrs Bales to me. I met her in 1972 after I had just started my junior year in high school and becoming friends with her son Dave. She always welcomed me in her home and was genuinely interested in me. She never lost that interest  in me even when I would see her later in life. It has been many years since I  last saw her, but Dave told me that she never stopped asking about me. God bless you, Mrs. Bales

I didn't get the chance to meet Mrs. Bales but, I have gotten to know her son David Bales. And through the years of working together with David, I have an appreciation of the sense of upbringing and morals she instilled in and had for herself. I know how much David cared for and loved his mother and I am heart broken to learn of her passing. My prayer is for the peace of God, the peace that impasses all understanding to cover this entire family and all those who are bereaved at this loss. God bless you all!!

MOM. u will be missed so much  I was so proud to say you were my mom ,you did so much for our family  we laughed and cried together  I will allways remember when you went to David's baseball games then we went to eat afterwards and the holidays we spent together,  you are with dad now  we will be thinking of you every minute every day but my love for you will never stop  you were the BEST MOM .    love you dave
