Arthur G. Rodriguez, Jr., 51 of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 22, 2015 surrounded by those who loved him the most. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 pm Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, 901 Avenida Cesar Chavez, KCMO. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 am to Noon Saturday at the Shrine.
Arthur is the second child born to Margaret Arroyo Rodriguez and Arthur G. Rodriguez, SR on April 16, 1964 in Kansas City, MO. He was an auto mechanic and known to everyone as “Turo”. He was a hard worker, a jokester, and he loved to ride his Harley. He felt free and alive. His favorite quote was, “Mom, it is what it is, just let it go.”
Turo was preceded in death by his sister, Alicia Rodriguez Navarro. In addition to his parents, Turo leaves to mourn is memory are his sister, Margaret Susan (Martin) Lopez,; brother, John Paul (Reyna) Rodriguez; Dee Dee Rodriguez, to whom he was married for 25 years; his daughters, Elizabeth (Joey) Timbrook, Taylor (Joe) Whalon, Mattea Rodriguez; two granddaughters, Scarlett and Savannah Timbrook and two grandsons, Lincoln and Peyton Whalon.
