My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  I'm originally from Fall River, went to Mt. St. Mary's High School. Annette and I would get together for lunch every time I'd get back to Fall River.  We exchanged birthday cards every year. She was so special, and I enjoyed our time together. I know May 4th was her birthday. She always talked about her daughter and family, her greatest loves. She has left us way too soon. God Bless!

I can't even begin to express the sadness I feel knowing that one of the dearest people I have ever known has recently passed away.  I visited with Mrs Tweedy this spring and we spent several hours catching up on each other's lives. I had tried several times after that visit to stop by again but each time I stopped by she was unfortunately not home.  I now realize that is because she finally was able to move where she wanted to be the most - close to her beloved daughter Lisa and her beautiful family!  There was never a doubt that Mrs Tweedy's greatest earthly treasures lived in Kansas City and finally she had the opportunity to be near to them!  Today I was told that I lost a dear friend who even during times of personal pain could reach out and make those around her feel joy and happiness.  Mrs Tweedy had the most joyful and contagious laugh!  And I loved laughing with her!  She is now in paradise with Christ! I will see her again someday but until that time I will remember the countless times she was there for me and my family and the many beautiful memories I have of this wonderful woman who gave of herself and her gifts to all of us who had the beautiful pleasure of knowing her! I love you Mrs Tweedy!!

My beautiful mother, Annette Tweedy passed away on October 30, 2015 at 72 years of age.  She was the most giving person I ever met and always was happiest when helping others.  This caring spirit lead her to nursing where she received many awards and was godparent to countless babies she helped into the world.  Once she retired from nursing, her deeds were quiet ones that didn't receive a lot of fanfare.  She made hundreds of meals for those that were sick, helped many folks when they were desperate, and could see a need even when not expressed.  Mom was also involved in town politics and was instrumental in getting the high school regionalized and the new Dighton police station approved.  Although she did not want a funeral ceremony, I know that many would have attended and told me their personal accounts of her kindness.  The world is better because of her kindness.  I love you and miss you, Mom.

I was so sorry to have read this sad news. Got to know Annette by our children going through school together. She was always a wonderful mother and a very thoughtful person. May she rest in peace.

Annette was such a good example of a caring and committed person. She always gave her best. She was a good friend and I enjoyed working with her on DR Regionalization many years ago. Rest in peace dear lady.

We are deeply saddened by the news of Annette's death. She was and will always be loved and respected for her friendship, integrity, sense of humor and generosity. We'll cherish the memories of the wonderful times and the laughter we shared.   Annette was truly a friend that a friend would love to have. We hope with all of our hearts that you're able to somehow find peace and comfort during this very difficult and painful time. We will always have Annette in our hearts. We pray that your memories and her love will bring you peace.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
