Anita Charlene Hampshire, 77, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. She was born to parents Harold and Helen Nash, on 09/04/1942 in, Kansas City, Missouri.
Anita and her husband James, (who passed 4-1/2 years ago) enjoyed each other’s company so much… they went everywhere together—Anita especially enjoyed traveling, reading, quilting, making jewelry, sewing, and socializing at their lake house in Warsaw, MO. In the winters both Anita and James were “snowbirds” and traveled to south Texas to a retirement RV community—they were involved in all kinds of fun activities there. They both “especially” loved being in Texas.
Those that knew Anita, knew how to spoil her—she loved her “Lindt Lindor Truffes”.
Anita met James Earl Hampshire in 1990. They were married on July 27, 1991 in Kansas City, Missouri. Together they enjoyed 4 children: James A. Clark, Jr and wife Polly; Stuart A. Clark and wife Ruthann; Rhonda J Forsen and husband Scott; Sondra D. Brasfield and husband Rick.
Anita is survived by her wonderful grandchildren, Michael Kellam, Jason Clark, Kristin Drussel, Courtney Conant, Lauren Tellson, Mallory Klink, Mackenzie Karr, Paul Logan Clark, Candice Moody, and Riley Wyatt. Anita is also survived by 23 lovely Great-Grand Children.
She was preceded in death by James E Hampshire, husband. James was the love of her life, her best friend, and partner. They both adored each other, their marriage was perfect. Anita has been somewhat lost since his passing. What a joy and comfort to know she is now back in his arms!
