Amelia “Mollie” Guzman, 90 of Independence, Missouri, passed away at Cross Creek of Lee’s Summit on February 11, 2023. Visitation will be on Saturday February 18, 2023 from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Redemptorist Catholic Church, 3333 Broadway Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri 64111. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
Amelia was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Guzman, Jr.; her son, Richard J. Guzman; and her mother & father, Consuelo Cervantes Ramirez & Jose Ramirez.
Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca (David) Pocock; grandsons, Aaron Joseph Moss and Joseph David Guzman; great-granddaughters, Haliegh D. Moss, Maria Barrios, Penny Guzman; great-grandson, Liam Guzman; two sisters, Eleanor “Ella” Arroyo and Antonia “Toni” Erichson; brothers, Joe Ramirez and Raymon Ramirez; and many loving nieces and nephews.
