Alfredo Nuñez, 70 of Kansas City, MO died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 318 Benton Blvd. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be form 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 22 at the church, where the rosary will be prayed at 6:00p.m.
Alfredo was born January 12, 1943 in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico to Petronilo and Elpidia (Aguirre) Nuñez, who precede him in death. He last worked for St. Luke’s Hospital 15 years before retiring. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Church and was a Third Degree member in the Knights of Columbus. Alfredo is survived by his wife of 41 years, Josefina of the home; 5 daughters, Beatrice Nuñez of Mexico, Martha Patricia Nuñez. Adriana Nuñez, Alejandra Arroyo nand Lourdes Pizano, all of Kansas city, MO; one brother, Leon Nuñez of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Maria Concepción Esparza of Kansas City, MO and 13 grandchildren.
