Vivian Lorene Adams Hill passed away at the age of 89 at the Sweet Life at Rose Hill on July 2, 2012. She lived her entire life in Wyandotte County and attended Bonner Springs High School . Early in her life she was employed by Hallmark Cards, North American Aviation Company and Katz Drug Company. She liked to think of herself as a homemaker. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years John W. Hill, Sr., her father and mother Louis J. Adams and Blanche Adams, her sister Clara Louise Beckman, and a niece Loralyn Delich. She leaves for you to enjoy her two sons John W. Hill, Jr. and Charles Hill and wife Carol of Kansas City Kansas, four grandchildren Shaun Hill , Brian Hill, Jennifer Ross and husband Jason, and Christin Kincaid and husband Zac, four great-grandchildren Maddy, Bryanna, and Paisley Hill and Nolan Kincaid, her brother Louis Adams and wife Malvina of Edwardsville Kansas, one nephew, nieces, cousins, and many special friends. Her gift to all was her love, friendship and joy of life. She had a zest for her family, friends, and fun. Each of you added much to her happiness. Vivian died in the same way she lived her life, full of youth, courage, humor and grace. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 6, at Chapel Hill–Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, at Liberty Baptist Church – 13101 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, KS 66109.
