Victor “Vic” Ritchie, 73, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Sept. 23, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 29 at Chapel Hill-Butler, 701 N. 94th St., Kansas City, KS, 66112. Private inurnment. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
Victor was born March 15, 1939 in Kansas City, Kansas to Charles S. and Orfa May (Miller) Ritchie. He held a variety of jobs throughout his life, at one time he worked here at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens and later he worked as an assistant at SaveOn Auto Dealership. Vic enjoyed games like pool and horseshoes, but he loved being outside most of all, camping and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Orfa, his half-brothers Marion Erskin, Bob Erskin and Buster Miller.
Vic is survived by his wife of 11 years, Nancy Ritchie, sister Pauline Groves, aunt Florence Ritchie, niece Donna Erskin and mother-in-law Lula Erskin as well as many other family friends.
