Timothy D. Moore

Tim Moore, 59, of KCK, passed away December 29, 2017 at Kansas City Hospice House. A memorial gathering will be held from 9:00-11:00am, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., KCK. Graveside services with Honors will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Action.

Tim was born October 6, 1958 in Leavenworth, KS to James and Irene Moore. He attended Wyandotte High School and enlisted in the US Army. After the Army, he served in the National Guard. He married the love of his life, Linda Moore in January, 1980. Tim worked for many years for Unified Government as a city building inspector. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time with family, and playing the drums.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Kathy; and his nephew, Jacob Moore.

Tim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda Moore; his daughter, Elizabeth Ray (Anthony); his son, Timothy J. Moore; his twin grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ryan Ray; and his siblings, Jim Moore (Laura), Wanda Henley (George), Mike Moore, Joe Moore (Terri), and John Moore (Barbara); and several nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
