Merriam, KS. Sheri attended Crestview Elementary, Hocker Grove Middle School, and Shawnee Mission North Highschool where she graduated in 1973. Sheri became a mother to her oldest son, Justin Moore, in 1979. Sheri’s family continued to grow in 1997 when she met her soon to be Husband, Randy Cress, and step-son, Cody Cress. Twenty-Five years of dedication at her employer, Global Aerospace, led Sheri to retirement as a Aeroinsure Operations Manager in 2022. After a tremendous battle with lung cancer, Sheri began her new journey to the Lord’s kingdom on September 10th , 2022.
Sheri is survived by her husband, Randy Cress, sons, Justin Moore and Cody Cress, granddaughter, Lauryn Moore, and an overwhelming number of dear and loved friends and colleagues. Sheri made quite the impact on everyone she met, and her legacy will continue on in our hearts.
A visitation for Sheri will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112, followed by a funeral services at 10:00 AM
Sheri will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112.
Serving as pallbearers are Justin Moore, Cody Cress, Randy Cress, Rodger Brackett, Bryan Roth, Keith Acton and Lauryn Moore.
