Sharon Denise Blackman

She graduated from K-State in 1976 with a Bachelor's of Science in Economics. She retired from Swiss Re in June 2011.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Lee (Hamilton) and John Johnson, and her husband, Charles Blackman. Sharon was known for being a huge Star Trek fan. She loved to travel and care for her dogs. She enjoyed surrounding herself with family - going out to restaurants, the movies, and bowling.

Left to cherish her memory are her five brothers: Theron, Gary, Ronald, Darrell, and Reginald Johnson as well as her aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. A special thank you to her brother Gary Johnson and niece Teandra Jones.

A celebration of life for Sharon will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at her home, 8240 Ella Ave., Kansas City, KS 66112.
