Roy Paul Stephens, 80, passed away March 25, 2013. A visitation will be held Friday, March 29th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Association or the Humane Society.
Roy spent his time as a Marine during the Korean War and following his military time, he worked for Colgate Palmolive for 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and the NRA.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Mary Stephens; sisters, Annabelle Stich and Janet Ogden; and brothers, William, John, Joseph, and Jacob Stephens. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Ross; brothers, Lawrence and Raymond Stephens; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Winona Stephens along with many nieces and nephews.
