He leaves behind his wife, Joy, of 58 years; three children and their spouses, Marie Graham and Jim, Michael Reeder and Amy, and Joel Reeder and Dewi; and one grandson, David Reeder.
Ron had an insurance career for 47 years, starting out as a map clerk, and then owning the Coffin Insurance Agency. After selling the agency in Council Grove, he moved back to Kansas City. He retired as a greeter for Walmart.
Ron was a member of Journey Bible Church of Olathe, Kansas. He loved the Lord Jesus, and had a passion to share Bible verses and encouraged others on their journey in life.
A visitation will be on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 9:00-11:00 am with the funeral service at 11:00 am, both at Journey Bible Church, 13700 West 151st Street, Olathe, KS 66062. Graveside service will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS 66112.
