Robert Leon Miller, 84, of Kansas City, KS passed away November 28, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
Born in Ponca City, OK, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Joyce. He loved his family: William and Peggy Miller, Robbyn Miller, Gary and Vicki Simpson, Kevin Benz, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He graduated from Phillips University, Enid, OK where he grew up. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Turner and the National Model Railroad Association.
He retired after 26 years from the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1996. Following, he served as an American Baptist Pastor at the Greenwood & Appanoose Baptist Churches of Pomona, KS for 10 years. No services are currently planned. The family suggest memorials to the First Baptist Church of Turner or Garden Terrace of Overland Park.
