Raymond Lee Robinson

Raymond L. Robinson, 86, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away March 5, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from Noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64145.

Raymond was born May 5, 1924 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of the late Charles and Laura Robinson. A lifelong area resident, he served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and Korea. Raymond worked for Western Electric, (AT&T, Southwestern Bell, Lucente). He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons: Raymond Jr., and Dale Curtis Robinson. Survivors include his wife Margaret; son: Norman W. (Sharron) of Shawnee; daughter: Jeanne Kasper of KCK; daughter-in-law: Karen Robinson; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
