He was united in marriage to Thelma Ree Webb on July 9, 1960 in Kansas City MO and the two remain married until parted by death, fifty-nine years later. To this union he had two daughters Barbara and Lola Stanley.
He was a dedicated man who provided for his family. He was employed at Jewish Community Center for several years. Farmland Industries for thirty-three years, and employed at Citywide, B and G Maintenance for twenty years, he retired from both jobs.
He always open his home to family and friends that needed a place to stay. He believed in keeping the connection with his siblings and nieces and nephew. He enjoyed riding his lawnmower keeping his yard
and flowers well groomed . He was a member of the Ringgold Alumni KC Chapter for six years. He also enjoyed relaxing on his porch looking over at the park.
He preceded in death by his father, Clem Stanley, mother, Nobie Stanley, brother Levall Stanley (Bernice), sister Melva (Virginia) Jean Lundie.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Thelma Stanley, two daughters Barbara and Lola Stanley Kansas City Kansas, brother James L. Stanley (Elizabeth) Houston Texas and host of nieces and nephews and friends
