Patricia “Patti” Roberts, 63, of KCK, passed away Sat., Dec. 21st. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Dec. 27th at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Dec. 26th at Chapel Hill-Butler, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Entombment will follow the Mass in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Patti was born Oct. 20, 1950 in KCK to Robert Paul and Eddy Jean (Nick) Remmers. She grew up in KCK and graduated from Washington High School in 1968. Patti worked for Southwestern Bell in high school and worked up the ranks to be a Manager when she retired. After retiring from SW Bell, she worked at Modern Maintenance then Wolsky Accounting. She married her beloved husband, Richard “Satch” Roberts on Aug. 17, 1985. Patti enjoyed most spending time at home with her family and feeding the deer that came to her back porch every night at 5:30. She also enjoyed redecorating her home, sewing, painting ceramics, crocheting bedding for family and friends and keeping organized. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents, Robert and Eddy Jean Remmers; her brothers, Tim and Ed Remmers; and their niece, Amanda Remmers. Patti is survived by her husband, Richard Roberts; their son, Steven Paul Dorflinger and his wife Jill; their daughter, Eddy Jean Goodpaster and her friend Jimmy Hill; their grandchildren, Addison and Avery Dorflinger, Joshua Renne, Savanna Beck and Jordan Goodpaster; her sisters, Pam Remmers and Nancy Remmers and her friend Bob Ashley, as well as several nieces, nephews and other family.
