Pam was born July 4, 1954, in Quincy, Illinois to parents Jess Graham and Viola May (Lois) Graham. Preceded in death by her parents and sister Leta Flaggard. Survived by her husband of 49 years, Tom Baker, of Overland Park, Kansas and her three daughters: Lois Scudder (Pasadena, MD), Lu Vandawalker (Overland Park, Ks), and Laura Gant (Prairie Village, Ks). Pam had three sons-in-law: Charles Gant (Prairie Village, Ks), Markus Vandawalker (Olathe, Ks), and Paul Scudder (Pasadena, Md). Pam was also survived by her sister Kaye Close (Overland Park, Ks). Pam was loved by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and an extremely large and loving community of family and friends.
Pam was a dedicated worker whatever the job, but one of her favorite jobs was working with her son-in-law Charles at Hen House for the past 11 years. She had a strong work ethic which she passed along to her children and grandchildren, but what she really loved was getting home to her husband, daughter, and her puppies Teddy and Brody. Pam spent as much time in her craft room as she could, whether it was sewing or using her Crikut machine to make personalized gifts for her friends and family. She especially loved when one of her daughters, granddaughters or nieces would craft with her.
Pam’s untimely passing has left her family at a loss for words, but we would love to hear what you care to share about our mom, wife, sister, and friend. Please join us as we celebrate the firecracker that was Pam Baker and remember that she loved you all TO THE MOON AND BACK.
