She married Otto Henley, Jr. Otto who preceded her in death. Additionally, her parents and oldest brother William Gabel, Jr also preceded her in death.
She leaves behind her brothers and sister Larry Gabel, Mary (Gabel) Taylor, and Brian Gabel to cherish her memory. As well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She attended Welborn Elementary School, Coronado Junior High School, and Washington High School and graduated. She also attended Area Vo Tech training and graduated, becoming a cosmetologist.
Pam was president of the American Legion Post 188, in Armourdale Women’s Auxiliary for many years. She loved helping others with food, transpiration, money and a listening ear. She was a devoted wife to Otto. Pam was a healthcare provided for many years. She also liked having fun and was an avid Chiefs fan. She also loved anything associated with butterflies. She had many paintings, statues, and other butterfly accessories. Her favorite drink was sweet tea. Over the years she also had several beloved pets. and was also an avid BINGO player.
A memorial service for Pamala will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, KS. Following the memorial service will be a graveside service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
