She was a graduate of Wyandotte HS, worked at Milgram's Grocery where she met the love of her life, and retired from Commercial Federal Bank. She then moved to Zephyrhills, FL where she was Treasurer for Sundance Community HOA for 6 years.
Marjorie adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an amazing cook. Her BBQ brisket, potato salad, and baked beans were the family favorites.
She was a loving and cherished wife, sister, mother, grandma-great and friend to many. She enjoyed going to church and playing cards with her friends.
She was the best mother ever!
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Elmer J. King, father Harry Anderton, mother Nellie Anderton, brother Manciel Anderton, sister Barbara McDonald.
She is survived by her siblings: Donna Minter of Kansas City, MO, David Anderton (Diane) of Highland, UT, Deborah Beckham (Robert) of Kansas City, KS. Her children: David King (Sandi) of Jacksonville, FL, Patrick King (Fran) of Gardner, KS, Michael King (Stephanie) of Firestone, CO, Christopher King (Jonathan Clayton) of Mullinville, KS, Jeffrey King (Angie) of Leavenworth, KS, Gina Monsees (Lloyd) of Shawnee, KS, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several close friends in the Sundance community of Zephyrhills, FL.
