Marguerite Joan Franz of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on March 10, 2021. She was 86 years old. Private family services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021. In leui of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marguerite's name to Humane Society of Greater KC, 5445 Parallel Pkwy, Kansas City, KS 66104.
Marguerite was born on December 7, 1934 in Brookfield, Missouri to John and Ada Arnold. She attended and graduated from Wyandotte High School. Marguerite worked for JCPenney’s in retail for over thirty years. In her spare time, she loved to sit on her front porch and enjoy her many flowers. She also cherish the holidays and eating out with her dear family. Her and her late husband would travel and she would join him on his trout fishing trips. Marguerite was an animal lover but none compared to her precious dogs.
Marguerite was preceded in death by her children, Christopher Paul Franz, Michael Steven Franz, and Vickie Sue Boney; her husband Ervin E. Franz Sr.; her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Left to cherish her memory is three sons, John Allen Franz of Lake of the Ozarks, Ervin E. Franz Jr. of Cleveland, MO, and James Kevin Franz of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren, Shawn, Jeffrey, Kimberly, Paul, Christopher, Kevin “Buster”, Megan, Melissa, and Michael; 16 great-grandchildren; along with many other dear family members and friends.
