Madeline (Maddie) Irene Drennon was born on August 3rd 2004. Our precious girl went home in the arms of Jesus on January 30, 2024. Maddie has the sweetest soul and her mommy and daddy were blessed to be chosen to be the ones to raise, care for and cherish her on earth and are comforted that she lives on free from all the physical restraints she dealt with in this life. She now lives with the only One to love her more than her mommy and daddy: Jesus.
Those who proceeded her and helped to welcome her in heaven were her maternal grandparents John and Rosie Swearingen, her paternal grandparents Clinton and Betty Drennon, her Aunt Wanda Swearingen, Aunt Sharon Simmons, Uncle Glen Swearingen, and Uncle Howard Rollins.
She leaves behind her parents Les and Karen Drennon, a brother Bryce Drennon, Aunt Nita Rollins, Uncle John and Aunt Debbie Swearingen. Numerous cousins and her church family at The Hill Ministries.
A huge hole now fills those who love her while at the same time experiencing a joy that she can now run and play. See you one day soon sweet, sweet baby girl.
A graveside service for Maddie will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions in Maddie’s name to be made to The Hill Ministries at 4945 old K-7 Highway, Shawnee, KS 66226
Serving as pallbearers are Leslie Drennon, Dr. David Yu, Tim Helsel and Dr. Scott Ford.
