Lois M. Orr, 92, went home to be with her Lord on May 10th. She was born May 9, 1922 in Mansfield, MO to Oscar and Louie Moody. Lois grew up in Whitewater, KS, moving to KC, KS during WWII, where she met the love of her life, Harrison Orr. They were married nearly 67 years at the time of his death in Sept. 2012. Six siblings also preceded her in death, Leonard Moody, Leona Todd, Lowell Moody, Lila Baker, Leo “Bob” Moody and Lloyd Moody. Lois was living at the home of her niece, Linda M. Oyer. Lois and Harry were not blessed with children of their own, but they were like “second parents” to several generations of nieces and nephews. Burial will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
