Lawrence Louis (Fitz) Fitzpatrick, age 87, of Olathe, Kansas passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 22, in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Fitz was born December 22, 1924 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Paul and Anna (Klien) Fitzpatrick He was a retired Air Traffic Controller.
He was preceded in death by his son: Robert Fitzpatrick; his first wife: Jo E. Fitzpatrick and his second wife Edith M. Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by his son Michael Fitzpatrick and daughter-in-law Karen, daughter: Janet Appleby; step-daughter Donna Alexander, grandchildren: Kelly McCue, Burt Appleby, Sheryl Appleby, Kevin Alexander & Kerry Alexander; great-grandchildren: Samantha McCue, Courtney McCue, Richard Alexander, Ryan Alexander, Avery Alexander, Nick Alexander, Torey Alexander, Jamie Alexander, Jackie Alexander; and a great-great-granddaughter: Gracie McCue.
