Larry L. Glass, 55, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23rd, at The Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family requests that any contributions be made to Kansas City Hospice House.
Larry was born September 5, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Wayne & Nellie (Federle) Glass, and he had lived in the Kansas City Area since moving here with his family at age 12. He was a Truck Driver for Deffenbaugh Disposal Company for over 20 years. He was a member of The Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 1999, and he enjoyed bowling and watching football games. He was a big Kansas City Chiefs Fan, and a University of Kansas Jayhawks Basketball Fan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, when she passed away in 2003, and his son, Larry Wayne Glass, when he passed away in 2009.
Survivors include his companion, Catherine E. Wrisinger of the home; his father, Wayne Glass of Kansas City, Kansas; 1 daughter, Michelle Angulo of Kansas City, Kansas; 3 step-children, Dustin Wrisinger, Mashea Voyles and Courtney Voyles, all of Richmond, Missouri; 4 sisters, Debbie Sanchez of Omaha, Nebraska, Wanda Knight of Kearney, Missouri, Norma Dismang of Kansas City, Kansas, and Karen Geis of Wichita, Kansas; 2 grandsons, Dominic Raines and Kevin Wrisinger; and 2 granddaughters, Andrea Pigg and Darcy Angulo.
