Kristina Lynne Switzer

Kristi was born November 27, 1963 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was the daughter of Barbara Mann and the late Jerry Mann and was a life-long resident of Shawnee, Kansas.

Kristi is survived by her husband of almost 34 years, Steven L. Switzer; sons, Sam Switzer of Davenport, FL, and Zachary Switzer of the home, her mother, Barbara Mann of Shawnee; mother-in-law, Marlene Switzer; sister, Gina (Greg) Crawford of Olathe; brothers-in-law, Mark Switzer of Ottawa, Kevin Switzer (Teri) of Hayden, Idaho, and David Switzer (Holly) of Olathe; sister-in-law, Kari Neiswender (Dave) of Ottawa; nephews and nieces, Brian Hamilton (Tracy), Jennifer Martínez del Campo (Eduardo), Kelsey Hatesohl (Jared), Alex Crawford, Lindsey Sylvester (Jake), Nick Crawford, Katie Crawford, Kirsten Mann, Maggie Miller, Trent Mann, Rosie Miller, Will Miller, Jimmy Miller; great-nieces, Adeline Sylvester, Stanton Sylvester, and Remy Martinez del Campo; and a great-nephew Hudson Hatesohl.

Kristi graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelors in Education and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. She went on to get her Master’s Degree in Special Education in 2010 and was an amazing teacher for the Turner and DeSoto school districts.

She enjoyed watching her sons play sports, crafting, riding her bike, spending time with numerous friends, especially longtime friends Suzie Sherman, Becky Denton, and Lisa Wenstand. Kristi loved decorating her house for Halloween and Christmas and watching the Hallmark Channel.

Kristi is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Mann; brother, Dan Mann; sister, Molly Mann; and father-in-law, Lloyd Switzer.
