Jerry W. Fisher, 70, of Bonner Springs, KS., died suddenly in his home on August 19, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Donna Salkil and three children: Jeff (Sherry) Fisher of Basehor, KS., Julie Yates of Tonganoxie, KS., and Shawna (Cam) Robinson of Oklahoma; one brother, J.E. “Sonny” Fisher of Tonganoxie, KS., and a sister, Shirley (John) Roesch of Aurora, Il. He leaves seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jerry retired as a master lithographer six years ago and then used his talents as a master craftsman with wood to create beautiful furniture for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by many. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home prior to the service.
