He is survived by his wife, Linda, of 39 years. Brother Monty Bond and 4 children: Jennifer, Michele (Keith), Jason (Ashley) and Michael. Along with 3 grandchildren: Andre, Keith and Aden.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents: Eldon and Betty (Jameson) Bond.
Gary was born in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Wyandotte High School. Gary worked with insecticides for 16 years at Nova Products.
After he stayed home to help with raising his kids. He loved watching his KU basketball. If there was a game playing he had to be home and in his chair so he could watch. He wasn't missing anything for his game. He loved cars, especially his 1973 Plymouth Road Runner. I swear he loved that car more than his own kids. He also loved bowling and going to his parents house at the Lake of the Ozarks.
He will be missed by so many of us. May he rest in peace.
A visitation for Gary will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chapel Hill - Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112, followed by a funeral services at 12:00 PM.
Serving as pallbearers are Jason Bond, Michael Bond, Andre Little, Aden Little, Joey Olinger and Keith Willeford.
